Salary: £32,010 – 37,626 (pro-rata for part-time)
Hours: 18 per week, 52 weeks
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Davidson's Mains Primary School Nursery. We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Early Years Officer to join our team and help lead our playrooms. In this exciting time for working in ELC, we hope that you are as inspired as we are by the current potential for improving the lives of children, and that you will relish the vital role that you can have in making children's rights a lived reality.
Our nursery delivers Early Learning and Childcare to children from 2-5 years old, both in term time and over the school holidays. Our current nursery improvement plan includes; Developing our outdoor provision to deliver quality experiences and spaces to learn and develop and exploring the concept of Slow Pedagogy to benefit our young learners. The hours will be worked term time across Mon, Tue & Wed between the hours of 7.45am-6.00pm on a shift rotation.

This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. An unconditional offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.
