This is an exciting opportunity for an Early Years Practitioner to join our team. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and will share our passion for ensuring the highest possible quality of learning for our young children.
Qualifications:
- HNC in Childcare and Education
- SVQ3 Children and Young People (SCQF Level 7)
Setting:
Our Early Years setting has capacity for 80 pupils and offers a mix of term time and full year places for 3-5 year olds and terrific 2s. The setting is open 8-6 daily. The successful candidate will be required to work between the hours of 8-6 on a rota basis.
Checks & Compliance:
This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. An unconditional offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.
