This well-established programme that was developed collaboratively with our young people leaving care, focuses on the practical aspects of managing a tenancy and living independently. All the work they completed on the programme will be processed through to AQAs unit award scheme for accreditation certificates.

The Housing & Independence service utilises the Trusts Psychological services to provide formulations of the young people prior to them starting the programme as well as a dialectical behavioural Therapy based programme, that the young people work through with staff support once ready they will move into the identified outreach accommodation which is the next phase of the project.
