Highways Operations is a growing service area within the Place directorate. It is dedicated to delivering a comprehensive service consisting of the construction and maintenance of, and all other works relating to, the public highway and associated assets within Doncaster.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out maintenance, installation and periodic testing of Street Lighting assets including columns, signs, bollards, and associated street furniture.
  • Work on the highway, in dealing with traffic management, and ensure a strong understanding of construction-related health and safety issues.

Requirements

  • Extensive electrical knowledge and experience of maintenance, installation, and periodic testing of electrical systems.
