You have an opportunity to be part of this in the role of a Senior Legal Officer advising and representing Doncaster’s Children, Young People and Families directorate in a varied range of children and young people legal matters.
The successful applicant will have experience in the relevant area of law and will be qualified as a Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister and will have previous children/family law experience including advocacy, drafting and negotiation skills alongside an established background of managing a caseload of care and pre-proceedings public law outline cases.
The successful applicant will have good communication skills and be able to manage their time effectively and efficiently. The childcare legal team is a well-established, supportive, dedicated and friendly team. Regular supervision is offered and opportunities for further learning and development are available and encouraged.
