Doncaster Council are looking for a number of young people (16- for the role of Young Advisor to work in the Partnership & Engagement Team.
The successful candidates will bring knowledge about being young and have a passion to help shape, develop and improve local services to make them more \โyoung person friendly\โ.
These casual part time posts (working up to, or over 10 hours per month) will involve a variety of different and exciting duties including attending meetings with key decision makers, supporting with projects and campaigns, delivering training (e.g. child friendly initiative), undertaking consultations and evaluations, supporting in youth activities, and utilising various social media platforms to engage with young people.
The successful candidates will be aged between 16-21 years, be highly motivated and passionate about improving services for children, young people and families and play a key role in helping Doncaster become the \โMost Child Friendly City in the Country\โ.
These duties and responsibilities should be regarded as neither exclusive nor exhaustive as the post holder may be required to undertake other reasonably determined duties and responsibilities within the directorate commensurate with the grading of the post, without changing the general character of the post.
