We’re excited to be expanding our Occupational Therapy service within our residential reablement setting. We recognise and fully value the vital contribution Occupational Therapy brings to supporting people’s independence and wellbeing. Working alongside physiotherapy‑informed practice and Social Work approaches, our team delivers high‑quality, Care Act compliant assessments and develops personalised reablement and support plans. Our aim is simple: to empower people to live meaningful, fulfilling lives as they transition back to their own home or into community living.

The post holder will:
- Deliver holistic, strength based reablement for adults with complex needs within a residential reablement setting.
- Promote and improve independence for adults with complex needs by provision of equipment and adaptations, moving with dignity, and interventions.
- Provide person‑centred interventions to reduce ongoing care needs and support safe, timely transitions.
- Have excellent interpersonal skills.
- Be able to work alone and within a team.
- Be able to organise and prioritise workload and balance this with conflicting demands of the role.
We will support you to develop/enhance your skills in functional assessment, person centred planning, providing advice and guidance on independence skills, assessing for a range of specialist equipment, minor and major adaptation planning, re‑housing and moving with dignity.
