The Finance Manager will be responsible for the effective day-to-day running of the finance office, ensuring the efficient, accurate and timely management of all financial processes within the school. This is a key role, supporting the Chief Financial Officer in managing and maintaining the financial integrity of the school, supporting budget planning, financial reporting, ensuring compliance with the Academy Financial Handbook and statutory financial regulations.
You will be joining a school that is committed to ensuring that every child achieves his or her God-given potential regardless of starting points as well as contributing to the wider mission of our school to encourage them to live life and live it to the full. We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented finance professional with excellent organisational and communication skills. An AAT qualification is desirable but not essential alongside experience of working within a school or public sector finance environment.
