We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Carpentry/Maintenance Lecturer to join our team and inspire the next generation of trades professionals. You will deliver high-quality teaching and learning to 16-19 year old students across a range of Carpentry/Maintenance and MultiSkills courses. We have four main sites across the city with state-of-the-art facilities.
Responsibilities
- Teach and assess learners on Carpentry/Maintenance programmes, ensuring engaging and effective delivery.
- Provide underpinning knowledge, guidance, and support to help students develop their skills, achieve qualifications, and progress into employment or apprenticeships.
- Support learners' wider development, including attendance and engagement in English, maths, and tutorial sessions.
- Maintain accurate records of learner progress and contribute to quality assurance processes.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and employers to link full-time students to apprenticeship opportunities.
