The University of Bristol Business School is inviting applications for an outstanding Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Marketing on a full-time and open-ended basis.
Our School undertakes research at the intersection of business, social science, and technology, leading projects that benefit our economy, society, and planet. This type of research suits academics with disciplinary excellence who enjoy collaborating with colleagues in other fields, for example, computer science, engineering, mathematics, psychology, sociology, law, or health.
The Group is distinctive in approaching marketing as both a core function of businesses and organizations, and as a vibrant academic field that is key to understanding and shaping a rapidly changing world. Its strengths lie in the emphasis it places on the interface of marketing and consumer research. Staff in the group possess a wide range of expertise and experience, encompassing diversity of methodological and disciplinary traditions as well as researcher and practitioner backgrounds. Our research, teaching, and engagement priorities are organized around topics related to digital marketing and consumption and/or the nexus of marketing, consumption, and society.
