The Residential Facilities Management Coordinator is responsible for day-to-day provision of the Facilities services to the University residential properties. You will work with an established Facilities team on buildings based in the Clifton area.

What will you be doing?

The Residential FM Coordinator will work closely with the Residential Facilities Manager (RFM), ensuring the provision of a safe (compliant), secure and quality environment for UoB students, staff, visitors and contractors through effective implementation of FM operational strategies across the Residences / properties they are responsible for and ensure Health and Safety is observed at all times.

You should apply if

You:

  • Hold a relevant City and Guilds qualification or NVQ at Level 3 or sufficient, relevant experience commensurate with such a qualification
  • Hold a relevant Health and Safety qualification such as IOSH, CIEH, or NEBOSH to certificate level. Due consideration will be given to candidates who have the relevant experience and have the aptitude to gain qualification
  • Hold a relevant Fire Safety qualification, such as NEBOSH Certificate in Fire Safety or equivalent, or be willing to work towards gaining a qualification
  • Are well organised and able to meet deadlines and exceed expectations
  • Have a full knowledge of safe working practices, along with a sound understanding of the principles and working applications of the management of health and safety at work
