‘Source’ is the University of Bristol’s award-winning catering brand and are looking for an enthusiastic and friendly individual to take the role of Catering Assistant within its flagship outlet in Senate House. The role will suit someone who has experience in catering or hospitality and can demonstrate hospitable and hard-working qualities. This is an opportunity that provides work-life balance, training & development, working alongside a large and supportive team.

The contract is for term time only, (34 weeks of the year, paid over 12 months), working 35 hours a week spread over 5 days. As a result, you will get a generous amount of time off over the Christmas, Easter and Summer periods. Whilst predominantly Monday – Friday hours, some evening and weekend work will potentially be included.

Our Catering Assistants are the friendly faces serving our students, other university staff and visitors and delivering great customer service.

What will you be doing?

The successful candidate will be preparing and serving food and drink whilst delivering great customer service. We will train you in all areas of service as required including barista training, bar training, event service and generally looking after our students and customers as part of a team.
