We have an exciting opportunity for a Carpentry Technician to join our college community.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Carpentry Technician to join our team and inspire the next generation of trades professionals. You will support the delivery of high‑quality teaching and learning to 16–19‑year‑old learners and adult students across a range of Carpentry courses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare materials, tools, and equipment to support practical carpentry teaching
  • Assist staff and students during workshop activities to enable effective learning
  • Maintain clean, organised, and well‑kept workshop environments
  • Manage stock control of materials, tools, and supplies
  • Promote and uphold high health and safety standards
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and safe working practices
  • Support students in using tools and equipment safely
  • Work collaboratively with other technicians across construction disciplines
  • Provide flexible support across different workshop areas as required
