We have an exciting opportunity to join our vibrant college community as a Tattoo (Industry Specialist) Assessor at our College Green Campus. This role would suit a professional tattooist or experienced industry practitioner who is passionate about supporting emerging creative talent and helping students build the skills, confidence and professional portfolios needed to progress within the tattoo and creative industries.

In this rewarding role, you will support students on our HNC Tattoo Illustration and HND provision, helping them develop their portfolios in a professional, industry-informed setting. You will deliver practical demonstrations, provide specialist feedback, support assessment activity and guide students as they develop their visual, technical and professional practice.

About your role:

In this role, you will work alongside the curriculum team to support students studying Tattoo Illustration and related higher-level creative programmes. You will bring current industry knowledge, professional expectations and specialist tattoo practice into the learning environment, helping students understand how to develop high-quality portfolios for employment, progression or freelance practice. You will support students with practical and professional skills including tattoo illustration, design development, client brief interpretation, portfolio presentation, professional standards, hygiene awareness, safe working practice and industry expectations. You will also contribute to assessment activity in line with awarding body and course requirements.

This is an excellent opportunity for a tattooist/ industry professional who would like to share their expertise with the next generation of practitioners while continuing to work within industry.
