We’re looking for students who want to help shape how Bristol SU works with societies. As a Society Ambassador, you’ll bring student leaders together, lead conversations that matter, and help turn shared challenges into practical improvements. You’ll play a key role in strengthening how societies connect with each other and with the SU.
You’ll lead Society Interest Forums within your category, creating space for Presidents and committee members to share ideas, learn from each other, and raise issues that matter. You’ll then take these insights into conversations with the Union Affairs Officer and Development Team, helping to influence how the SU supports student groups.
Across the year, this work builds towards You Said, We Did, where you’ll help showcase impact, share successes, and highlight the changes still needed. This is a great opportunity to build skills, gain experience, and make a real difference to the society experience.
What’s the job?
- Hours: Approx. 25 hours across the year (including evenings)
- Salary: £13.45 per hour
- Contract: Zero hours, Fixed Term until Summer 2027
