We’re looking for a creative and confident student who loves social media and knows how to turn ideas into engaging content. You’ll plan and create organic, video‑first content for Bristol SU’s TikTok and Instagram, with a strong focus on trends, storytelling, and student voices. This is a zero‑hour contract with a guaranteed six hours per week, plus opportunities to increase hours during key campaigns. You’ll need to be able to work a minimum of four hours per week in person with the Marketing Team in our Senate House offices.
Responsibilities
- Plan and create organic, video‑first content for TikTok and Instagram.
- Support platform management and create content in collaboration with the Marketing Team and Full‑Time Officers.
- Produce paid‑partnership posts with local and national businesses.
- Engage with students and officers to generate content and interviews.
- Feature in content when required, both behind and in front of the camera.
Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience in social media content creation, ideally for an organisation, company or student group.
- Confidence in approaching students and officers to get involved in content and interviews.
- A passion for social media, trends and content creation, with the ability to contribute innovative and exciting ideas to increase engagement on our channels.
- Confidence both behind and in front of the camera, with a willingness to feature in content when required.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with the rest of the Marketing Team and our Full‑Time Officers.
