We are looking for a part time Medical Receptionist to join our busy Student Health Service, providing a welcoming first point of contact for patients and supporting the smooth, day‑to‑day running of our reception area. In this vital role, you’ll deliver efficient administrative support, handle sensitive information with care, and help ensure patients receive the right assistance at the right time.

What will you be doing?

  • Receiving telephone requests for medical appointments and fielding general enquiries about patient services
  • Triaging and completing online consultation requests
  • Recording the movement of medical records in and out of the practice.
  • Registering new patients and removing them from our list at the end of their studies.
  • Completing a variety of administrative tasks supporting patient access and the transfer of medical information.

  • Mon: 8.30-5.30 - 1 hour lunch break
  • Tues: 2‑8pm - 30 min lunch break
  • Weds: 8.30‑12.30 - 4 hours - TERM TIME ONLY
