At City of Bristol College, we deliver transformative education in inclusive and dynamic learning environments. We have an exciting opportunity to join our vibrant college community as a Ceramicist Evening Course Tutor at our College Green Campus. This role would suit a practising ceramicist, maker or creative practitioner who is passionate about sharing their specialist skills with adult learners in a supportive, creative and professionally managed studio environment.
In this rewarding role, you will deliver two 8-week evening ceramics courses on Tuesday evenings within our ceramics space at College Green. You will support learners to develop confidence with clay, materials, processes and techniques, while creating a welcoming and inspiring learning environment. There is also the opportunity for this role to grow, supporting the development of future evening, adult and community ceramics courses as part of our wider creative curriculum offer.

About your role:
In this rewarding role, you will plan and deliver high-quality evening ceramics sessions for adult learners. You will introduce learners to a range of ceramics processes, demonstrate safe and effective use of tools, materials and equipment, and support learners to produce creative outcomes within a studio setting. You will help create a positive and inclusive learning experience, supporting learners with varied levels of confidence and experience. The role will also support the ongoing development of ceramics evening provision, with potential for future course growth.
