Do you have a passion for live sport and getting people active?

We’re on the lookout for someone with a real passion for sport to join our team at Bristol SU! You’ll be the face of weekly fixtures and get stuck into everything from recruiting players and facilitating matches, to celebrating successes and running one off tournaments. You don’t need to be an expert in each sport but will be able to greet students, create a welcoming environment and explain the basic format to those unsure. If you’re keen to get people involved in our fun, social, multi-sport programme for University of Bristol Students, we’d love to hear from you.

Hours available:Various (including evenings and weekends)

  • Wednesdays, 11aside Football, 13:30-16:00, The Downs (Clifton)
  • Additional hours may become available

Salary:£13.45 per hour

Contract:Zero-hours

What will you bring?

  • You’ll be able to build relationships with players and facilities
  • You know how to support injured players and support them safely back to play (first aid training will be provided)
  • You’re a skilled trouble shooter able to take on issues as and when they arise allowing teams to enjoy their fixtures
  • You’ll be confident taking photos and videos of sessions to share on social media
  • You will be able to keep track of match results to feedback to the admin team in case of any result discrepancies
  • Your communication will be professional, consistent and timely with captains and Bristol SU staff alike
