We have an exciting opportunity for a Higher Learning Assistant to join our college community.

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Higher Learning Assistant to join our team. The Higher Learning Assistant role is essential in ensuring that our Learning Assistants have the support they need to effectively assist our students. You will act as a valuable resource for day-to-day queries and contribute to the overall success of our educational programs. As the Higher Learning Assistant, you will assist the allocation of Learning Assistant timetables to ensure that our vulnerable students receive the support they need. You'll deliver direct In-class support to students, helping to reduce barriers to learning while enhancing their educational outcomes.
As a key member of our Learning Support Team, you will collaborate closely with other Additional Learning Support (ALS) colleagues, teachers, and other key Internal stakeholders to foster a supportive learning environment. We have four main sites across the city with state-of-the-art facilities. Further future investment in our estates is now allowing us to provide the best possible outcomes for our students and local communities, delivered by our fantastic community of colleagues.
At City of Bristol College, we have one goal: to help our students succeed. We offer the widest range of academic and vocational qualifications in the area, with more than 1,000 courses available from entry to degree level and we provide education and training to approximately 10,000 students each year.
