About your role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Carpentry Technician to join our team and inspire the next generation of trades professionals. You will support the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning to 16–19-year-old learners and adult students across a range of Carpentry courses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare materials, tools, and equipment to support practical carpentry teaching
- Assist staff and students during workshop activities to enable effective learning
- Maintain clean, organised, and well-kept workshop environments
- Manage stock control of materials, tools, and supplies
- Promote and uphold high health and safety standards
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and safe working practices
- Support students in using tools and equipment safely
- Work collaboratively with other technicians across construction disciplines
- Provide flexible support across different workshop areas as required
