City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council is looking for an experienced and motivated IT Security Manager to lead our cyber security function at a critical and exciting time. This is a senior leadership role where you will shape how we protect vital public services, sensitive data, and thousands of users across the district. What you will be doing
- Lead and develop a high‐performing IT Security team.
- Take ownership of cyber and information security strategy, policies, and standards.
- Lead cyber incident response, including investigations and coordination with external agencies.
- Manage vulnerability assessments, cyber risk registers, and mitigation plans.
- Act as the trusted security adviser across the Council.
- Deliver security guidance, awareness, and training.
- Represent the Council in regional and national security forums.
- Keep ahead of emerging threats, risks, and best practice.
- Help shape the future of digital and cyber security across the organisation.
