Job IntroductionThe street lighting unit comprises a design, maintenance and operational staff as well as our sign shop. Role Description We are looking for Street Lighting Operatives to join our dedicated team in the Department of Growth. Following the recent Smart Street Lighting project implementation, you will be maintaining the street lighting assets to ensure our highways are well lit for our residents and highway users. Working as part of a team carrying out maintenance and installation of street lighting and other highway electrical equipmentTesting and fault diagnosis of street lighting columns, signs etc. Surveying equipment and producing reports in written or electronic format and updating information on the asset management system Driving of various vehicles including MEWPS, LGV/HGV's, and other specialsit plant.
