The focus is on enabling, empowering and supporting them to remain independent, active and engaged members of their communities, both receiving and providing the support and activities they identify that they need and which are their chosen priorities.
We are looking for someone to join our team to develop and lead an exciting new project and would love to hear from people who are passionate about supporting older people to live their best possible life.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the mobilisation, implementation, and ongoing development of the programme.
- Ensure delivery is aligned to programme guidance, outcomes, quality standards, and reporting requirements.
- Oversee programme planning, risk management, safeguarding, and quality assurance.
- Ensure effective systems and processes are in place for referrals, assessments, reviews, and planned endings.
- Monitor programme performance, participant outcomes, and delivery targets.
- Prepare reports and information for internal management, funders, and external evaluation.
- Line management of the Project Assistant.
Strong administration, leadership and communication skills are required for the role, together with a positive attitude and willingness to learn. Please note that this role is subject to a DBS check, which will be arranged and paid for through Age UK Bradford District.
Salary £26,500 FTE per annum, actual £10,027 per annum (based 14 hours per week) 5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays pro rata. Training will take place at our Wrose Community Hubs and the successful candidate will need to be flexible with working days through induction period.
