Responsibilities
- Automate individual and bulk processes through administration and online portals
- Create benefit calculations and maintain technical specifications
- Agree requirements, ROI and system change specifications with the Head of Pensions Systems Development
- Plan and deliver a continuous program of systems upgrades and development for fire pension schemes
- Key requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in a bespoke financial services development environment
- Strong programming skills, databases, cloud computing and APIs
- Expert knowledge of SQL and Python
- Strong understanding of database schemas and stored procedures
- Expert knowledge in automating workflows and robotics
- Strong attention to detail with good mathematical knowledge
