Job Introduction The Early Education Access and Take Up team are a small team who Provide information, marketing and brokerage support to inform the public, schools, childcare settings and other professionals including ‘hard to reach groups’, to enable equality of access to understand and take up all childcare entitlements.

We are looking for an Early Years Access and Take Up Officer to join our dedicated team in the Intelligence & Sufficiency, Department of Childrens Services.

This role is an opportunity to make a real difference in our vibrant and diverse city.

The successful candidate must be available to work 22.5 hours per week , the working days will be Monday to Friday , all year round.

The main responsibilities of this role: Supporting The Best Start in Life Agenda To make information available through a wide range of outlets, particularly focused on parents who might otherwise find it difficult to access information and services.

To perform outreach duties in line with information provided by the Department for Education to inform parents of their eligibility for early education funding Promote and develop liaison with partner organisations and key communities to ensure that the key messages regarding the importance of early education places are widely communicated.
