Bradford EPT is a vibrant, welcoming and supportive team with a balance of experienced and more recently qualified staff. We are looking for Assistant Educational Psychologists to join our psychology team. You will work under the supervision of experienced Educational Psychologists to undertake a varied range of activities including project work.
The Team is based in the centre of Bradford in modern accommodation with dedicated desk space and meeting rooms. It has good access to IT, with office based and remote access to electronic files, e-mail and internet facilities. Bradford itself is easily accessible from neighbouring local authorities and offers great outdoor opportunities in the nearby Dales and surrounding area.
An enhanced disclosure check with the Disclosure and Barring Service will be undertaken for this post. This post is not suitable for a secondment.
We are seeking people who:
- Have a strong desire to make a difference to children and Young People in the Bradford District
- Have experience of working with children, young people and their families
- Have knowledge and understanding of typical and atypical patterns of child development
- Have applied psychology in the context of working with children and young people aged 0-25
- Have a keen desire to undertake the Doctorate in Educational Psychology professional training
- Have a 2:1 or above degree in Psychology (or Masters Level) which confers Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership of the British Psychological Society
- Are optimistic, reliable, energetic and reflective
