About the role
Are you a dynamic and experienced piano accompanist for singers? Join our thriving Music department within the School of Performing Arts and help enrich lives through learning - bringing people together from across London and beyond.
We are looking for an experienced accompanist to support adult group classes (up to 14 learners) on the following courses on Mondays from September 2026:
- Singing 1 (17:30–19:00) - a general introduction to singing technique for contemporary / popular music.
- Sing musical theatre: collective (19:15–21:15) – a musical theatre class with an emphasis on group singing: duets, trios, and ensemble numbers, with some opportunities for short solos. Workshops for solo performance may also be included.

About the applicant

- A relevant qualification and/or equivalent experience.
- Up to date knowledge, enthusiasm and interest for contemporary singing technique, style and repertoire.

- Experience of working with adult learners in a relevant area.
- Understanding and experience of promoting equality and diversity, safeguarding, health and safety as appropriate to the role.
