The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

Location: Covent Garden, London

Salary: £39.11 per hour for teaching (including pro rata holiday entitlement and preparation time) / £25.83 per hour for meetings (including pro rata holiday entitlement)

Hours of Work: Thursdays – weekly 16:00-17:30, fortnightly from March 2027 – June 2028 (term time only).

About the role

Are you an experienced Professional Development Group Facilitator? Then why not join City Lit’s Psychotherapy, Counselling & Personal Development department to facilitate a professional development group as part of the Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling course, SEG Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling: Integrative. The aim of the group is to support Placement work underpinned by a Professional Development curriculum and you will play a key role in creating an outstanding experience for the students. You will be required to attend meetings with other facilitators for peer support and supervision for 30‑minutes before facilitating your own groups, take responsibility for classroom administration and work co‑operatively within the programme area team.

Qualifications

  • Have significant post‑qualification experience as an Integrative Counsellor.
  • Are practising as an Integrative Counsellor.
  • Are in current and ongoing Supervision.
  • Have BACP membership and abide by the Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions.
  • Have Level 2 qualifications in both Literacy and Numeracy (or equivalent).
  • Have a Level 4 Diploma in Integrative Counselling.
