Salary: £39.11 per hour, inclusive of pro rata holiday entitlement and preparation time.
About the role
Are you an engaging Portuguese Language Tutor with a passion for teaching adult learners and bringing language to life in the classroom? Join the thriving Languages department at our ‘outstanding’ Ofsted-rated college and help enrich lives through learning by bringing people together from across London and beyond.
In this role, you’ll be a key contributor to our Languages department, where our renowned high-quality courses focus on inspiring students to explore and develop their language skills in the context and application of the target language. You will be part of a supportive team and receive plenty of opportunities for developing your teaching practice.
We are currently seeking Brazilian/European Portuguese Tutors to teach one or more of the following courses:
- Term 1
- European Portuguese beginners: module 1
- Tuesdays, 22/09/2026 – 01/12/2026 18:00 – 19:30 In-person
- Portuguese for Portunhol speakers 18:00 – 19:30 In-person
- Term 2
- Mondays, 18/01/27 – 22/03/27 18:00 – 19:30 Online

Candidate Qualifications
- Experience of teaching Brazilian/European Portuguese to adults or groups of adults.
- Up to date knowledge, enthusiasm, and interest for the subject that can inspire students.
- Experience of teaching face-to-face/online courses.
- A teaching qualification (desirable).
