About the role

Are you a dynamic and innovative Danish Tutor with a passion for teaching adult learners? Then why not join the thriving Languages department at our ‘outstanding’ Ofsted rated College, helping to bring together people across London and beyond, and to enrich lives through learning.

The department offers courses in over 30 modern and ancient world languages, including Danish, catering to all levels, from beginners to advanced, with both online and classroom formats, ranging from daytime, evening and weekend. This role will play a key part in enabling learners to develop their Danish language skills and communicate effectively in real life situations.

Danish Tutors for:

  • Danish beginners: module 1, running from 21 st September – 30 th November 2026, Mondays, 18:00 – 19:30, online.
  • Danish 2 lower: module 1, running from 23 rd September – 2 nd December 2026, Wednesdays, 19:35 –21:05, online. This is fixed term, with the possibility of continuing from January 2026 depending on enrolments.
  • Danish 3 lower: module 1, running from 22 nd September – 1 st December 2026, Tuesdays, 17:30 – 19:00, online. This is fixed term, with the possibility of continuing from January 2026 depending on enrolments.

If you are unavailable for the above courses but would like to be considered for the Talent Bank for other teaching opportunities that may arise in the Danish programme area online and/or face-to-face, from beginners through to advanced, during daytime, evening and weekend, also apply.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Advanced level of verbal and written Danish, with the ability to converse at native speaker level (minimum C1 level).
  • Experience of teaching Danish, ideally to groups of adults.
  • Up to date knowledge, enthusiasm and interest for the subject.
  • Experience of developing own teaching materials and working independently.
