City Junior School is a co‑educational junior school that opened its doors in September 2022. Located in the historic and peaceful surroundings of Grays Inn, our architecturally designed buildings reflect traditional values alongside a modern and innovative approach to education.

Role Summary

The school is seeking an experienced Flute Teacher to join the Music Department. The role currently comprises up to two days of flute teaching each week, with teaching days to be agreed with the successful candidate. The successful applicant will teach pupils aged 7‑11, from complete beginners through to more advanced players.

Responsibilities

  • Teach flute lessons up to two days per week.
  • Lead and/or support wind groups and ensembles as part of the co‑curricular music programme.
  • Participate in concerts and performance opportunities to enrich the school curriculum.

Qualifications & Checks

  • Satisfactory references.
  • Receipt of an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate.
  • Medical clearance.
  • Confirmation of the right to work in the UK.
  • Overseas police checks where necessary.
