The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

This is a great opportunity to build your specialist skills while supporting people recovering from stroke to regain independence and confidence. You'll join a supportive, multidisciplinary stroke rehabilitation team working across the community, use your clinical expertise to assess needs, plan interventions, and help people work toward goals that matter to them. You'll also play a key role in shaping safe, effective, and person‐centred care across the service.

Main duties of the job

  • Deliver specialist assessments and interventions for people with complex stroke‐related needs
  • Plan and manage your own caseload, making clear clinical decisions and prioritising care
  • Offer advice, supervision and training to colleagues, students, patients and carers
  • Work with others to triage referrals, monitor service quality and support service development
  • Maintain accurate records and follow professional and organisational policies

Qualifications (Essential)

  • Current HCPC professional registration
  • Degree or diploma in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy

Qualifications (Desirable)

  • Post‐graduate diploma in a relevant specialist area or a professional qualification to degree level supplemented by specialist accredited training and experience equivalent to a post‐graduate diploma level

Experience (Essential)

  • Evidence of sound post‐registration professional practice
  • Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD) relevant to the clinical area at a specialist level of care
  • Experience of multi‐agency/professional working
  • Experience of case load management within specialist service area
  • Evidence of promoting/supporting active patient/relative involvement/participation

Experience (Desirable)

  • Experience of complex case load management within specialist service area
