This role supports people in a rehabilitation setting by aiding recovery and promoting independence. You will work as part of a caring, multi-disciplinary team to deliver high quality, person-centred care. As a Senior Health Care Assistant, you will support patients and colleagues, help ensure safe, effective care, and contribute to smooth day-to-day service delivery. You will also take a lead role in guiding and supporting other care staff.
Responsibilities
- Support patients with daily care, rehabilitation and comfort needs
- Lead and supervise a team of health care assistants
- Monitor and update care plans, risk assessments and patient records
- Support admissions and discharges, ensuring a safe transition of care
- Promote safeguarding and safe medication practices
What we're looking for
Essential
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent knowledge and skills
- First aid at work
- Basic Food Hygiene

- Working towards (or willing) NVQ Level 4
