Main duties of the job:

  • Support day‑to‑day activity within an urgent care setting
  • Help create a calm, safe and welcoming environment for patients
  • Work closely with colleagues to support smooth patient journeys
  • Follow agreed processes to maintain quality, safety and confidentiality
  • Work a fixed four‑week rota including evenings and weekends

Your working pattern follows a set rota:

  • Weeks 1, 3 and 4: Mondays and Tuesdays, 6.00pm–11.00pm
  • Weeks 1 and 4: Fridays, 6.00pm–11.00pm
  • Weeks 2 and 3: Sundays, 11.00am–11.00pm

What we’re looking for:

  • A caring, reliable approach with a focus on patient experience

  • Confidence following set procedures and routines

Qualifications:

  • Level 2 in Business Administration or Customer Service or equivalent knowledge and experience
  • Word processing to OCR level 2 standard
  • International Computer Driving License (ICDL) or able to demonstrate high level of keyboard skills and knowledge
  • Current Full Driving Licence
  • Basic Life Support training or willingness to undertake

Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of a range of reception and administration procedures
  • Standard IT skills including basic knowledge of Microsoft programmes
  • Knowledge of stock rotation and control procedures

Experience:

  • Previous experience working with the general public
  • Previous driving experience
