You will be part of a supportive team that takes pride in keeping our residential healthcare setting running smoothly. Your work will help create a calm, hygienic space where clients can feel comfortable and well cared for. You will also work closely with colleagues to make sure daily tasks are well organised and completed to a high standard.
Main duties of the job:
- Maintain a clean, tidy and safe environment across all areas
- Support with basic food preparation such as snacks, soups and sandwiches
- Respond quickly to spillages and hygiene issues using safe working practices
- Monitor standards, take part in inspections and help with action plans
- Carry out simple record keeping, stock checks and equipment care
What we are looking for:
- NVQ Level 2 in cleaning or similar skills gained through experience
- Basic food hygiene training
- Understanding of safe working practices such as Health and Safety and COSHH
- Experience in a cleaning role, ideally in a healthcare setting
- A warm, friendly and professional approach, with good communication skills
- Willingness to work flexibly and follow policies, procedures and uniform standards
