About the roleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated dietitian to join our dynamic team within Tier 3 Specialist Weight Management. The post holder will work within a multi-disciplinary team, assessing and providing obese patients with high quality dietetic care.
Responsibilities
Work within a multi-disciplinary team, assessing and providing dietetic care to obese patients.
Assist in the assessment and treatment of patients, including those who may be referred to the Tier 4 Bariatric Surgery Service.
Manage a busy caseload, ensuring all patients are adequately supported.
Provide clinical supervision to other team members as required.
Use evidence-based practice, education and behaviour change techniques to help patients lose weight.
Qualifications & Experience
HCPC registered dietitian.
Relevant post-registration dietetic experience.
Experience working within a weight management service is desirable but not essential.
LocationYou will be based in the vibrant, cultural city of Hull, with the main base at Marfleet Health Centre and will also work from various other bases across Hull and East Riding.
