Are you passionate about behaviour change? We have an exciting role available at Smokefree Liverpool as a community development worker to help achieve our commitment to reduce the prevalence of smoking and tackle health inequalities for the people of Liverpool. We are offering a flexible and varied role, with training, hybrid working, community-based interventions and prevention, and a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver stop smoking advice and provide brief support to smokers across a variety of settings.
  • Complete referrals to cessation services and ensure smooth transition.
  • Target and engage vulnerable populations within the city.
  • Support referrals into service via promotional events, GP surgeries and community venues.
  • Support and motivate others, and work effectively within a team setting.
