Overview
Community Dental Services has a vacancy for a full time Qualified Dental Nurse to join both the Consultant Led Paediatric and Adult Special Care Dental clinics based across various sites in Hull.
The successful candidate will form part of a well-established team assisting dental clinicians providing dental treatment for Paediatric and Adult patients who meet the referral criteria and can not accept treatment in a general dental practice.
Responsibilities
- Assist dental clinicians providing treatment in Paediatric and Adult Special Care settings
- Support patients and involve appropriate adults in treatment options
- Carry out Infection Prevention & Control measures following HTM01-05 and company SOPs
- Work in a busy clinical environment, maintaining high standards of care
- Maintain effective written and verbal communication with patients and the team
Qualifications and skills
- Qualified Dental Nurse
- Resilient, well organised, able to work under pressure
- Excellent IT skills and communication skills
- Team player with good interpersonal skills
