An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Macmillan Clinical Nurse Specialist development post within the Hull and East Riding Community Specialist Palliative Care Team.
The successful candidate will be employed in a band 6 development role and will become a band 7 once the essential qualifications are achieved. This community-based post is within a multi-disciplinary team that delivers specialist, high-quality care to patients with advanced, progressive illness, and their families and carers.
The role combines clinical leadership, expertise, and complex palliative and end-of-life care management to promote palliative and end-of-life care. As an RN with a minimum of 2 years experience working within a palliative care setting, you must have advanced palliative care clinical experience, knowledge, and skills. Applicants must have excellent advanced communication skills and experience of multi-professional team working. They must also be committed to delivering high-quality patient care. You must be qualified to degree level and willing to undertake Non-medical Prescribing and other specified essential qualifications within a specific timeframe.
