Would you like to join an innovative and exciting MSK Physiotherapy Team with training and progression options within the East Riding of Yorkshire? An opportunity has arisen for us to offer a part time (22.5hrs) Band 5 MSK Physiotherapy role within our East Riding MSK service. Opportunities for the post holder to develop with in-service MSK days and online training. We currently offer a variety of care options through telehealth, face to face clinics and digitally supported options for patients. Excellent support will be provided to develop your MSK skills toward advanced levels. This is an extremely exciting time in the MSK world, come join a team that is constantly evolving and will bring out the very best in you.

Main duties of the job:

  • The post holder will offer a high standard of evidence based therapeutic care working within a specific service area.
  • They will be responsible for their own autonomous practice and ensure effective patient care is maintained.
  • This is a static post and the post holder may be required to travel to any locality within the East Riding MSK service.

Person Specification:

Qualifications:

  • Current HPC professional registration
  • Professional qualification to Degree level
  • To undertake post graduate training
  • Develop leadership, training experience/qualification
  • CPD supported by short courses

Knowledge:

  • A broad understanding of relevant policy, drivers and their application to clinical and service area
  • An understanding of relevant clinical practice/standards within identified clinical area
  • Basic IT skills
  • Full understanding of relevant policy, drivers and their application to clinical and service area
  • Full understanding/application of relevant clinical practice/standards/audit within identified clinical area
  • Work towards developing specialist skills and knowledge

Experience:

  • Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD) portfolio
  • Evidence of promoting/supporting active user/carer involvement/participation
  • Evidence of pre graduate clinical placements and training
  • Provides advice and guidance to less experienced staff, support workers, students
  • Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD) relevant to the clinical area
  • Evidence of specialist practice skills and able to demonstrate the impact of this on practice change/development
  • Evidence of post registration professional practice
  • Ability to supervise junior staff and students
