The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 € per year.

You will be well supported by senior staff with advanced clinical knowledge in areas of dysphagia and acquired communication difficulties, and external clinical voice supervision will be provided to support you whilst developing your band 7 competencies.

As an Advanced Speech and Language Therapist (Development Role), you will:

  • Provide specialist assessment and intervention to adults with complex voice, communication and swallowing needs.
  • Manage a diverse caseload, triage referrals and deliver evidence based therapy using advanced clinical reasoning.
  • Support the community videofluoroscopy service.
  • Work autonomously within professional guidelines, supported by supervisors and the wider MDT.
  • Contribute specialist advice to colleagues, patients and external agencies.
  • Support and co‑ordinate day to day operations within your clinical area.
  • Participate in service development, quality improvement, clinical governance and audit.
  • Provide clinical supervision, training and mentorship to junior staff, assistants and students.
  • Engage in professional networking regionally and nationally.

This is a fantastic opportunity to grow into an advanced clinical position with mentorship, structured competency development and advanced training. We are looking for a therapist with excellent communication skills and proven post graduate experience in working with clients with voice and swallowing disorders to join our team.
