This is a great opportunity to build your administrative skills while supporting patients to access the care they need. You will work as part of our Primary Care Medical Services team, helping colleagues deliver smooth, well-organised services for our local community. Your role will support patient health checks, new patient registrations and everyday enquiries, helping people feel informed and well supported. You will also play a key part in keeping our records accurate and our systems running well.
What you’ll do:
- Welcome patients and handle enquiries with care and clear communication
- Support recall processes for long-term condition reviews and health screening
- Maintain patient records, including scanning, updating and checking information
- Help with office tasks such as organising diaries, preparing documents and managing stock
- Assist new starters by demonstrating tasks and supporting their training
Qualifications and skills:
- Good communication skills and confidence working with the public
- Ability to organise your workload and manage simple tasks independently
- Basic IT skills, including using Microsoft Office, with training provided
- A team-focused approach and willingness to learn
- NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or Customer Service, or equivalent experience
