As a Quality Manager, you will lead a high performing team mitigating risk, delivering an exceptional customer experience, and ensuring valid and reliable learner outcomes. You will be expected to build excellent relationships with customers whilst keeping risk management at the heart of everything we do.
You will support the senior leadership, provide clear direction and support manage resources effectively, foster a culture of continuous improvement and complaince with regulatory standards.
This is a full-time role, working 35 hours Monday – Friday. Your office base will be at our Burntwood Hub so you must be in commuting distance of this office 5 days a week. You must also be willing to travel to other regional hubs or on customer visits as and when required. Unfortunately, we cannot consider home based applicants for this roles.
About the role
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team to achieve department goals, deliver exceptional service and meet key SLAs.
- Work autonomously and support your Senior Quality Manager to effectively deliver on the Centre Quality team mission.
- Ensure compliance with our regulatory requirements (Centre Assessment Standards Scrutiny) and ensuring the validity and integrity of the qualifications and assessment we offer.
- Identify risks and effectively mitigate these internally and externally.
- Identify and reduce inefficiencies and keep a tight control of costs.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
About you
- Experience leading teams in quality assurance, education, or customer service.
- The ability to coach and develop a team to become experts in their field.
- Experience of developing and managing projects.
- An analytical thinker with a logical mind, and a desire to solve the problem.
- Able to take the lead, identifies inefficiencies, and finds new ways of working.
- Must be highly skilled in Excel (data analysis, manipulating data, advanced formulas etc.) and other MS Office applications.
- Agile working, adaptable to change and managing multiple priorities.
- Skilled in designing / delivering training and carrying out training needs analysis.
Whilst not mandatory it would be beneficial to have knowledge of the UK education and training sector.
