Independent End-point Assessors (IEPAs) will assess apprentices' competence in line with City & Guilds End-point Assessment policies and procedures for the Refrigeration, Air Conditioning & Heat Pump Engineering sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and document apprentices' competence against Apprenticeship Standards.
  • Provide advice and support on End-point Assessment sites and to the End-point Assessment Team.
  • Attend training sessions and deliver assessments as a contracted independent assessor.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Assessor qualification(s) and Level 3 or greater in the RACHP discipline.
  • Current working experience within the industry.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the RACHP sector.
  • Must meet the criteria set out in the Refrigeration, Air Conditioning & Heat Pump Engineering Technician person specification.

Other Requirements

  • Provide a detailed CPD log demonstrating maintenance of competency.
