Responsibilities

  • Scoping qualification content – e.g., qualification and unit structures, rules of combinations, assessment design
  • Writing unit content
  • Drafting assessments and sample assessment materials – e.g., multiple-choice question papers, knowledge tests, practical assessments, professional discussions, portfolios of evidence
  • Reviewing and amending assessments as part of reviewing panels or as a scrutineer
  • Reviewing the mapping of content against standards or other qualifications

Role Description & Qualifications

You will be required to have:

  • Certificate of Competency Paint, Panel and MET qualification.
  • At least 3 years experience of working in the Vehicle Damage sector and within one of the different specialisms (Paint, Panel and/or MET).

There are 6 qualifications being developed – 3 first qualifications and 3 re‑certifications across the different specialist areas. As part of your role, you will receive contextualised training for each development that you are involved in, and will be expected to attend online, face‑to‑face meetings as well as taking on some remote activities. All development activities must take place within the UK.
