We are recruiting Independent End-Point Assessors (IEPAs) to assess apprentices’ competence in line with City & Guilds End-Point Assessment policies and procedures. IEPAs assess and document apprentices’ competence against Apprenticeship Standards and provide advice and support on End-Point Assessment sites to the End-Point Assessment Team.
Assessment Schedule
The assessment takes place over two days (10.5 hours observation and one hour professional development).
Compensation & Employment
IEPAs are contracted on an annual basis and are not directly employed by City & Guilds Group. The role offers competitive daily rates and the opportunity to work alongside your current job.
Qualifications & Experience
- Hold an assessor qualification(s)
- Be qualified to a minimum of Level 3 within the Motor Vehicle Service & Maintenance Technician discipline
- Currently working within the industry
- Have in depth knowledge and understanding of the Motor Vehicle Service sector
- Meet the criteria set out in the Motor Vehicle Service & Maintenance Technician (Light) person specification
Professional Development Requirements
Applicants must submit a detailed CPD log with their application that demonstrates how they have maintained competency in the industry, not just generic CPD training.
Selection Process
Following a successful review and vetting of your application, you will be invited to a training session for the Independent End-Point Assessor role.
