This role is specific to the Question Paper 2 examination in the Core Pathway for Land-Based Engineering. The paper consists of short answer questions (SAQ), some of which are structured and extended response questions (ERQ). The examiner will help in the creation of the question paper and would be required to attend all-day Assessment Material Evaluation Committee (AMEC) meetings as well as support with the ongoing maintenance of the examinations. The examination series are twice a year in summer and autumn.
Successful applicants for the Principal Examiner position may be asked to carry out a short task, attend a telephone interview and/or attend training as part of the second stage of recruitment, before being confirmed in role.
