Would you be interested in supporting the delivery of Technicals examinations in Land-Based Studies? We are looking for a Chief Examiner to join us in the development and delivery of assessment. This Associate role gives you the opportunity to work alongside your current job, to build additional income with competitive daily rates, and to continue to develop your own skills and development.

Responsibilities
- The Chief Examiner will ensure question papers are prepared ahead of our dated exam series and are at the required standard, error free and high quality.
- They will support a team of experienced associates during standardisation activities, sampling and providing ongoing support during marking – and will then support setting grade boundaries for each examination series.
- The Chief Examiner will also provide guidance on occasional technical queries throughout the year where needed, and support preparation of our task-based synoptic assignments.
Qualifications and experience
- The Chief Examiner should have strong experience in industry and education with a passion in supporting learners in an important step in their journey, with a commitment to quality and high standards.
- Experience in writing and reviewing question papers is welcomed but not necessary.
- The Chief Examiner will also provide key technical advice and guidance to support assessment development and delivery across the year, when required.
Timelines
- Assessment Production: Ongoing throughout the year outside of key marking and awarding windows.
- Dated Entry Question Paper: June Exam Series & November Exam Series.
- Awarding/Standard Setting: July – Mid August & December - January.
