Retail Security Officer (SIA + CCTV Licensed) Location: Tunbridge Wells TN1 Pay Rate: £13.27 per hour Hours: Average 40 hours per week Shifts: Days or Nights, Monday to Sunday (Mixed shift pattern) We are currently recruiting professional and reliable Security Officers to join a retail security team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with SIA and CCTV licences, offering a consistent shift pattern and a professional working environment. About the Company Our client is a forward-thinking, privately-owned organisation and a leading provider of professional, integrated, and bespoke security and facilities management services. Operating across a wide range of sectors including education, student accommodation, healthcare, charitable organisations, corporate estates, warehousing and distribution, social housing, utilities, and retail parks they deliver tailored solutions with a commitment to flexibility, reliability, and quality. Requirements: * Valid SIA Door Supervisor licence * Valid CCTV licence * Driving licence essential * Excellent English communication skills * Well-presented with strong customer service abilities * Confident using a computer * Good housekeeping and cleanliness standards * Must be eligible to work in the UK Key Duties: * Access control and maintaining entry/exit records * CCTV control room monitoring * Maintenance of logbooks and registers * Welcoming and notifying staff of visitor arrivals * Tracking visitor movements and appointments * Answering phone calls and handling enquiries professionally * Receiving and distributing mail deliveries * Assisting visitors when leaving the premises (e.g., arranging taxis) * Responding to alarms and disturbances * Monitoring and authorising staff and visitor movements * Liaising with police or fire services in case of emergencies * Checking and maintaining alarm systems * Monitoring and adjusting building systems, such as air conditioning and heating What We Offer: * Regular shift pattern * Reputable retail environment * Supportive and professional team City Group is committed to being an equal opportunities employer.
